This will absolutely help you in avoiding hunger pangs and cravings. And do not ever skip breakfast-this is the most important meal of the day.
3. Although you are eating 5 meals a day, it would be a must that you portion it. In doing this, try looking at your fist. Yes, that should be the exact size of the rice you are going to eat. That is a better measurement.
4. Although this may sound bland already, but this is essential, too-drink lots of water. Drinking 2-3 liters of iced water a day will keep away hunger pangs (which may just be thirst pangs, in the first place). It best that you keep yourself hydrated. Water will actually help us in metabolizing our body fats; it will help the kidneys in flushing out the wastes. The liver will also be performing well when we drink water.
5. It is a must that you take foods from each of the food groups. It is not a wise move to neglect even one group since we all need those. You should only know what to lessen and what to control. Do not rely too much on processed foods. So it is wise that we take carbohydrates, proteins, and fat-the unsaturated ones, of course.
6. Eat lots of fiber. This act will aid our bowels to function well. And another thing is that fibers will you the thought that you are already full. It would be smart if you will start your day with a cereal rich in fiber.
7. Have this routine-eat what you want once a week. Yes, this is not depriving yourself in any way, hence there is no need for you to do binge eating. Do not be too strict on yourself or else you would give up right away.
And finally, please be realistic. By eating healthy foods, like the ones on the list above, you will surely lose weight fast. Just keep in mind that you are not supposed to starve yourself in the process. That is the realistic way of losing weight. Engaging in crash diets will not give you the results that will be long term, too.
