I took her advice and replaced all of the junk food in my refrigerator with fresh fruits and vegetables. I also stocked up on lean proteins like tuna, salmon, and chicken breasts. I began to grill my dinners, and I bought myself some protein bars, and protein shakes for breakfast and lunch.
Instead of drinking diet soda and coffee, I turned to water with lemon juice, and herbal teas. Instead of white rice, I bought brown rice. I never ate a lot of bread, so I was able to switch from white bread to whole grain breads fairly easily.
Exercise in the form of long walks and Pilates became part of my daily regimen, and when I couldn't fit in a long walk during the day, I would simply switch on my Wii Fit at night, and workout at home.
I ended up losing 40 pounds, and because I did my research on quick weight loss diets, and I determined to manage my weight, and keep my figure.
